Education: I am a social worker by trade, I have a diploma in Social Work that I received from Mount Royal College.

What I have done: My first foray in self publishing were two installments of Quality of Mercy. I participated in 24 hour comics day with an entry titled Franks Hole. I also wrote a short called Martin's Pass for Happy Harbor Comics Anthology which is illustrated by the impressive Chris Peterson of Radioactive City Comics. Lastly, my debut with Radioactive City is a short that I wrote for Round Two called Power of Suggestion. That one is illustrated by the uber talented Nick Johnson.

What am I doing/ What's on it's way: Lucky for all of you I have been able to switch away from illustrating to completely concentrate on writing. All of my upcoming projects are stuff that I have written. Soon, I expect to see Hellstone: Mapping the Human. This is a re-rendering of the Hellstone legend created by Johnny Luu. Johnny will be illustrating this one and it is going to be wild!

Bio:

Bio: I have troubles categorizing myself for anything. I think that the human is too dynamic and changing for us to be individually categorized. In my field of work there is a popular workshop called "True Colors". This is the worst thing for categorization of humans. I have never taken it, but I have been in the middle of something and the person watching me would say "Oh, you are so purple". I hate that and it makes me want to rant. But seriously if you want to know about my life in the nutshell I was born and raised in Alberta. I grew up mostly in Bassano, which is a tiny farm town. This was a boring place, but my imagination took control of that boredom. Now I am in the city and have been for a few years. I am a dad to my son Anthony, and a partner to Leeann. She knows me best, so I should have gotten her to write this. I was with Radioactive City for a while and helped produce Radioactive City Meltdown, but I, as you can tell, have become Vicious and Ambitious. I am very happy to be a member of such a creative team and look forward to the possibilities of being here. Positive energies and enthusiasm. Vicious and ambitious.

Favorites

Movies: The Thin Red Line, 21 Grams, American Beauty, Godfather, Godfather 2, Gangs of New York, Kinsey, The Big Lebowski and Back to the Future (You bet all three of them).
Music: Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, TOOL, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, and don't you dare laugh but I am digging Triumph right now. Magic Power, baby!
Television: Davinci's City Hall or Inquest, Six Feet Under, Deadwood, Sopranos, and OZ was a great show.
Radio: The XM Squizz, XM Loft, Lucy, Ethel, Bone Clonz on XM Boneyard, The National Playlist (now defunct) and Go on CBC Radio One.
Artists: Jae Lee is one of the most underrated artists in comics and he has grown immensely. I also dig Paul Chadwick, Art Adams, and Van Sciver is pretty good.
Writers: Grant Morrison, Brian K Vaughan, Bill Willingham, Geoff Johns, of course Paul Chadwick, Chester Brown, Jeff Brown, and Brian Wood.
What I am Reading: DMZ, Y The Last Man, Miscellaneous Infinite Crisis series, Green Lantern, Fables, Exterminators, Local, Secret War, and Ultimates.
