BIO:

Drawing since I could pick up a pencil .... blah blah blah.

Age 13-ish I started collecting Spider-man and X-Men comics. Following, I'd draw "fan fic" comics of TMNT and other random 'spin-off' characters of my own. Over the next few years I'd create dozens of characters and draw tons of X-Men in hopes of soon drawing for Marvel or the newly blossoming Image at the time.Age 17 I started really thinking about my own comics and through friends I saw it was possible to self-publish through photocopying and stapling. I created my first comics "Doll Steak" which went on for 3 issues plus an Ambush Girl solo and then random other stories in a small press publication called Prairie Jam and Tales from Purgatory.Age 21 I went to college and pretty much dropped comics, but they slightly lingered but I barely drew or read comics during college. Upon completion I poked my head around comics and found I'd missed a lot and wasn't sure what to read any more. Thus, I actively stopped most comic collecting all together.Age 27-ish I lost my main source of income and realized "hey, I used to draw comics" and started trying again. I found out I lost many of my abilities and creativeness I used to harness when I was young. Attemped a few false starts on creating a new comic and contemplated my next move.April 2005 my life changed, in a last attempt at this comic thing - I attended a 24hr Comic event. I completed my 24 page comic and realized I was able to finish something. Since then I've restarted my Doll Steak universe, creating new characters and stories and once again growing as a storyteller and artist.
